Hi,

The specs of this VoIP router does mention of its
support for SIP; therefore, this router should work with
the FreeWorld Dialup services. This prompted me to buy a
unit of this D-Link DVG-1402S VoIP router. However, I
don't see any VoIP setup under the setup menu of this
router, except I noticed a username/password is needed
to access the "Advanced" menu. So, I contacted D-Link
and got the response saying the username/password have
been set by Lingo. As I mentioned above, I only plan to
use this router's VoIP with the FreeWorld Diaup service.
So, I would appreciate if anyone out here can tell me
what the username/password to access for the "Advanced"
menu. That way, I can setup this router to use the
FreeWorld Dialup VoIP services.

Thanks.

Works with Broadvoice & proabably any other SIP or MGCP vendor, but sold locked to Lingo & AT&T. Requires admin logon to change VOIP settings in advanced menu.
Admin logon
   PrimusAdmin
password
   tu7w3z39op4n
This for the current (winter 2004)Lingo version, firmware L4.0S34 boot rom L4.0B03 at least. CSR didn't ask about my version, so pass should work on all. D-Link will probably change with firmware update if it becomes too popular. Please note successes or failures with particular versions in comments. Include vendor, (att lingo etc.) & firmware & boot prom rev from main page.)

Hi WallyWatts,

The username/password you gave here works great on my DVG-1402S VoIP router that I bought from Fry's Electronics in Nov 2004. Now that I have it unlock, it's time to figure out how to use this unit with FWD. If anyone has any information to reprogram this unit to work with FWD, please let me know.

Thanks.

OK, after fiddling a couple of hours, I finally got my DLink DVG-1402S VoIP router workiing with FWD. Right now, some friends can call me from his telephone through a local SIP gateway to my unit and the sound quality is good and clean.

I just order line from Lingo with Tokyo number.
I have already all information like phone number, account id, and web login password.
Somebody could provide here - information about servers/gateways of Lingo that I will able to use this information to configure my Asterisk use this line. I actually do not need the DLINK device that they send!

If the device sent to U from Lingo is a DLink DVG-1402S router, all U need is to use the username/password posted by WallyWatts here to access the advanced menu to find the information U need.

Otherwise, please let me know through e-mail and I will try my best to help you out by resetting my DVG-1402S VoIP router to look for the information U need. At the momemt, my DVG-1402S VoIP router has already been reprogrammed with FWD information and only a hardware reset will over write the current setup to a factory default setup.

If you want to find out the username/password for your Quintum AXM800 device, you will get a better chance by posting with a new subject/title that reflects your device name/model, i.e. "Need username/password to unlock Quintum AXM800 VoIP device". Until then, perhaps only people who are interested in DLink DVG-1402S VoIP router username/password will read the beginining of this post. I did ask for the username/password for my DLink DVG-1402S VoIP router in one of the posts and did not get any response until I open a new post here.

I hope this helps you out.

Can a DLink DVG-1402S router be modified to work with Vonage?
Using Advanced login username/password, can Vonage be slected at the service provider?

AFAIK, most SIP router/IP phones, including DVG-1402S, should work without any problem with any VoIP ISP (VoSP) that supports SIP. All you need is to call Vonage and tell them you already have the DVG-1402S VoIP router and would like to use it with a new account.

From time to time, your local Circuit City, CompUSA, or BestBuy store carries a new Vonage VoIP package which comes with the hardware and sometimes it is FREE after rebates and activation. That way, you can spare your DVG-1402S VoIP router to run other FREE SIP, i.e. FWD.

Romanr,

What model of DLink VoIP device do you have? If you have the same as mine, DVG-1402S VoIP router, the username/password are shown in this post.
