Welome to TMC’s VoIP Forum.  In 1998, TMC launched the first print magazine covering VoIP called Internet Telephony Magazine.  Here is a funny story: We asked several carriers about our idea to launch this magazine (myself and my publisher) and they said, “You’re crazy.  VoIP is for hobbyists and for chat.  There are no business applications for Internet Telephony.”

Boy, were they wrong!

Today, Internet Telephony Magazine is still the #1 trade publication covering VoIP technology, products and services with over 40,000 print subscribers (not to mention all the people that read the magazine online).  We have espousing the benefits of VoIP longer than anyone else and as such, we wanted to help build a community to help one another in choosing and deploying VoIP solutions.  As such, we have designed this website to help people in the VoIP Industry connect with one another, exchange ideas, and help build a community to help answer your questions about VoIP.

In fact, our plan to to INCLUDE some of your posts in our VoIP newsletters.  So if you need help with a particular VoIP issue, your posting may get sent out to our 80,000+ newsletter subscribers!!

There are two VoIP forum rooms.  “VoIP Forum : Wanted Ads-Classifieds - Barter Minutes” and “VoIP : General”. “VoIP Forum : Wanted Ads-Classifieds - Barter Minutes” is for any sales-related postings, such as termination, listing VoIP equipment for sale, and bartering minutes.  Try and keep blatant sales pitches in this room.

The other room, “VoIP : General” is for anything and everything else VoIP.  Feel free to tell us your opinions on Vonage, Packet8, Voice Glo, Lingo and I-Connect.  Try and keep blatant sales pitches out of this room.  However, if you have a new product or service, such as launching a new VoIP software client or something, then go ahead and post it here.  We welcome any reviews and opinions on any VoIP products or services you have tested or used.

NEW!  We added RSS channels for each room.  Just click the RSS XML VoIP Forum Feed icon next to the room(s) you want to add to your RSS reader. I love the VoIP RSS feed and we think you will too!

Feel free to check out our other rooms as well, including Call Center, WiMAX, and more.
